Final Halloween Card

Good thing my sister doesn't live across the country since I didn't get her card in the mail until yesterday. I've been wanting to use the negative die-cuts like this & decided the MFT Primitive Pumpkins might work. Hard to tell, but the top panel is attached with foam tape.  I hand cut around the tops of the pumpkins after embossing them on black cardstock with Zing! Apricot powder. The splatter stamp is by Magenta--love the look & need to remember to use it.  Finally used a piece of Washi tape on a card (mostly it holds my dies in place--LOL!) & added the black glitter strip made with Score tape & MS glitter.  The black glitter stickers tied right in & I finished off the card with orange trim. I'm entering the October Halloween challenge at Magenta & Anything Goes at SSS Wed.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

  3. Hooray! Washi tape in use instead of sitting in your drawer. I don't know why I love it so much... maybe because it requires less work to cut and size? Just stick and go. Plus, I love the pattern of it in conjunction with the rest of your colors. Great card, as always, Greta!

  12. Fabulous card--and I love that you have a splatter stamp--I would like the control it gives over actual splatter. Very fun to make the pumpkins negative cuts.

  16. I had to laugh when I read this. That's the same thing I use my washi tape for too! It looks great on this card. I love the negative die cuts and they look nice with apricot embossing powder. It gives them some nice texture. The cut out ribbon is very pretty.
