Couple of Cards

My friend, Betty, designed TTTC 132 board.  I used copper foil for the ThermoWeb Toner Card Front.  I didn't get complete coverage which I find tends to happen with big, solid areas.
Actually, I like the distressed look.  The Stamp Market Just Vine die was cut from copper & black cardstock.  I stacked the leaves 3 high.
For the sentiment I stacked the word die from W&W Big, Bold, Seasons 5 high, covered it with Nuvo Glaze & added a black shadow.  The companion words from the same set were white embossed on black cardstock.  Finished off with black enamel dots.  I used the diagonal row of Die Cut, Free (foil), Fall.
Next is the card I made for the Pinkfresh Studio September Challenge.  I had forgotten about the beautiful Lush Vines stamp which I black embossed.  I wanted a look transitioning to Fall, so I loosely colored with Zigs in 2 shades of green & mustard.
Finally opened my Small Butterflies & gold embossed them.  I picked one & colored it with the same Zigs.  The green butterfly body was covered in gold Stickles.
The sentiment from Delicate Wreath was stamped on a vellum strip & a black strip was added to the left side of the panel.  I finished off with yellow gems that pick up the colors in the light.
We finally are getting some much needed rain.  I'm happy to have cooler temperatures.  The roses will soon finish blooming, but this one was so beautiful I snapped a picture before it rained.

Last Minute Entry

Just realized one of the challenges I made this card for is about to end, so here's a quick post.  I loved the current FMS challenge as soon as I saw it & there are lots of wonderful entries.  Mine is pretty simple using Distress Ink cubes candied apple, carved pumpkin & fossilized amber.
I chose the colors from the JUGs challenge & used direct to paper with the ink cubes for the September GK Monthly Mix challenge.  I stamped the leafy branch from GK A Happy Hello in opposite directions, lining it up to appear as a single image.
The embossing powder is SSS Antique Gold.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Versafine Clair pinecone & added HA ombre sequins my friend, Betty, gave me years ago.

Thank You, Anniversary, Friendship

I finally got a card made for AAA Cards challenge Up to One Third with the option of leaves
Winnie & Walter Scenery: Stripes image was inked with Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves.
Then I gold embossed an image from PTI Turning a New Leaf & stamped the W&W sentiment in Versafine Clair Pinecone.
Next is the card I made for my sister & BIL.  I die cut Memory Box Grand Heart from 3 white panels & stacked them together.
It looked too plain, so I used Taylored Expressions Swiss Hearts embossing folder.  Copic Markers BG09 & YG67 were used to make the striped background.  The sentiment is from PTI Mat Stack 3 Collection & the tiny hearts are from Gina K.  Finished off with a white crochet thread bow.  I'm entering the Memory Box September challenge.
Edited to add:  Also entering DRU.

A few years ago, SSS added the Trees & Trunks die set to my order--fun surprise!  I used white scraps to die cut the tops & trunks.
The trunks were sponged with Distress Ink gathered twigs & the tops with peeled paint, carved pumpkin & fossilized amber.  I covered the tops with Distress Stickles a shade lighter.  PFS Color Block Stripes was used for the strips which I inked with the same colors.
PTI Classic Kraft panel was splattered with a brown Zig & the sentiment from SSS Anna's Flowers was stamped in Versafine Clair Pinecone.  I used SSS Mocha Java sequins for embellishment.  I'm entering The Snippets Playground.

SSS, PTI, Gina K

We can go weeks leaving home only for curbside grocery pick ups.  Kinda strange that all 3 of us ended up with appointments yesterday.  Hubby got a haircut--first client of the day, Fritz had an annual chest x-ray to follow his heart murmur & I had a steroid injection in my hip.  Whew--normal life--haha!  Also good news--the ruptured sebaceous cyst Fritz had healed up just fine, so no surgery!
On to my cards before the challenges end.
First is a floral card in Fall colors--not a leaf to be found!
Love SSS Anna's Flowers in any colors, but here I used Distress Oxides fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, abandoned coral & peeled paint.  The SSS sentiment die was cut from gold cardstock (inexpensive from Michaels & I love it!) & white cardstock scraps to stack it for some dimension.
I used some soft gold gems from my stash for just a bit of sparkle.  I entered SSS Wednesday & SSS Flickr.
My card for the PTI challenge to use a vellum accent reverts back to a design from when I started stamping, but I still love the look.
I started by stamping a branch from Turning a New Leaf in Simply Chartreuse & Ripe Avocado on a vanilla card.  Using the darker ink on the ends of the leaves doesn't really show since most of the stamping is covered with the vellum which I attached with a scrap of matching ribbon.
PTI Wonderful Words: Hello was die cut from champagne glitter Fun Foam.  The beautiful Champagne Lucy's Little Things were the perfect embellishment.  I'm also entering SSS MondaySSS Wednesday.

My 3rd card mini slimline card was made for Just Us Girls & ModSquad.  Gina K's Holiday Tapestry stamp set is a beauty & I realized the images don't have to be for the holidays.
Here I embossed with a beautiful old powder called Pewter.  It has a bit of glitter in it which is beautiful in person.  Love how it looks on the PTI Soft Stone panel.  The sentiment is from the Gina K set called Winter Hugs.  I was lucky to find it for a fraction of the original cost from a stamper purging her stash.  It included the dies & had never been used!
Love that it has sentiments for all year.  I added a black strip & 6 black sequins.  So honored that GKD actually noticed this card on IG & showed it in her stories.  I'm also entering SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.
