WCMD Plus

I recently pulled out the beautiful PTI Botanical Blocks IV stamp set to enter ITP PTI Melissa's Fab Friday via IG.
I gold embossed the image & did some loose watercoloring with Zigs.  I added gold Stickles & used a panel of Classic Kraft for the mat.
The same Zigs were used to watercolor the sentiment from the same set & I mounted it with foam tape.
Love that ITP & PFS had challenges for WCMD.  Unfortunately, I forgot about the ITP challenges on IG until the last minute.  I had 2 hrs to enter, so picked the first challenge which was a color combo of blues, pinks & grays.  Botanical Blocks IV was still on my table, so I black embossed the holly image & again used Zigs for watercoloring.
Gotta say, I love the blue holly leaves with pink berries.  I used a gray marker to color the thin frame & attached the piece to a lighter blue textured cardstock mat.
Decided not to add a sentiment, so I can use this as a note card or put a sentiment on the inside.  I'm also entering SSS WCMD & WAW.

The PFS WCMD Challenges are open until the 11th.  So far I've made 3 cards--each for 2 of the challenges.  I entered Challenge 3 Stripes & Challenge 9 CAS through IG with this card using 3 images from Dainty Blossoms--one of my favorite die sets!
I colored them with 3 Copics which I also used to color 3 stripes cut with the Color Block Stripes die.  Great way to use up some of my white scraps.  The sentiment from Delicate Wreath was stamped in Memento Toffee Crunch & I added Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher dots.  I'm also entering The Snippets Playground.

Next is my entry for Challenge 2 Thank You & Challenge 7 Rainbow.  I used one of my newest dies, Layered Wreath.  I die cut the wreath from white cardstock & the separate little pieces from vellum.
The little flowers included in the set were colored with Copics, arranged in groups of 3 & embellished with a dot of Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher.  I attached the wreath to a square of vellum & stamped the sentiment from Delicate Wreath.  I'm also entering Double D.
Last is my entry for Challenge 5 Slimline cards & Challenge 6 No Stamping.  I used Slim Braided Circles Panel die, Classic Holiday Words dies & Christmas Wishes patterned papers.
I've been hoarding the paper pad for a long time, but fun to use some of the papers for this card.  The top layer of the words was die cut from red glitter tape & the shadow from vellum.
Finished off with Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher.  I'm also entering Allsorts.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.

Still Crafting--Surprise, Surprise!

Pretty much every day is WCMD for me, but I love having extra challenges to celebrate "the" day.  Mr Random MFT didn't find me, but you never know about the others out there, including Winnie & Walter--one of my favorite companies.  They're so generous with lots of prizes, have the challenges open a week & even let people use any products they want.  First is my Craftie showing me at my table Saturday morning with my stack of W&W products.
I'm holding my warm up project from the night before.  It's my entry for W&W Rerun No. 24
I fell in love with Lydia's card, so made my version using a SSS Village die, greenery from W&W In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals & sentiment from Big, Bold Seasons.  The inks are Field Greens, Ripe Avocado, Ocean Tides & Love Letter.  I added a white dot to the berries & covered them with Crystal Laquer.  The roof top has a bit of Frosted Lace Stickles & the gold behind the windows is brushed with Wink of Stella.  Fun to make a smaller card this time.  I'm also entering Christmas Card Challenges & SSS Flickr 81.
Edited to add: Also entering SSS WCMD.
Simon Says Stamp World Card Making Day 2017
I started with the 4th W&W WCMD challenge--Anything But A Card.  My project is a holiday magnet made with a foiled Sizzix die cut that's been sitting in my back room for ages waiting for me to get inspired.
The cute little die cut & stamped snowflakes are from W&W Big, Bold Seasons & I double clear embossed them.  The background is debossed with a Darice folder & I used In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals for the stamped & die cut word.
This will be added to my magnet collection on the fridge for the holidays.  At least I'll have one decoration up the day after Thanksgiving--haha!  I'm also entering SSS Wednesday.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

Soft Leaves

So glad I get the DeNami In Touch newsletter as it included the info on their WCMD challenge a day ahead.  I got my card made on Friday instead trying to do it after work on Saturday.  I chose the "buttons, green, stripes" row. I love these beautiful leaves (DeNami Elegant Autumn Scene) & it's easy to ink them without the included sentiment which I will use on the inside.  I love tone on tone which I achieved by clear embossing & then coloring with a Memento New Sprout marker.  Love this striped paper which is old & almost used up now. I've also been hoarding these tiny buttons--aren't they cute?  I decided stitching might detract from the subtle leaves, so just pierced the rows & popped up the panel. Hope you have a fun day that includes some crafting.
I'm off to work but will check on what you've been up to when I get home.
Thanks for your visit.
