The beautiful filigree egg image from the set called Easter Eggs was randomly stamped & heat embossed. Then I blended 3 Distress Oxides: worn lipstick, cracked pistachio & wilted violet. Next I used the pinking shears to cut the wavy edge of a white panel & I stamped the sentiment (cut off the flourish) in Delicata Silvery Shimmer. I have an inexpensive roll of white sequins in a container on my table & decided to use them instead of ribbon across the top--fun change for me! The egg panel was attached with no adhesive next to the pinked edge, so it isn't flat even though I didn't use foam tape. I'd planned for the eggs to be the bottom of the card. However, as I was working the card was under my panel & the eggs showed much better with that little strip of white below them. I think my mom would love that I used her shears. Got a little tearful wishing she was here, but also brought back happy memories of my always loving mom.
I'm also entering Allsorts, CAS on Friday, SSS Wednesday & SSS National Craft Month. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
