SSS, PTI, Gina K

We can go weeks leaving home only for curbside grocery pick ups.  Kinda strange that all 3 of us ended up with appointments yesterday.  Hubby got a haircut--first client of the day, Fritz had an annual chest x-ray to follow his heart murmur & I had a steroid injection in my hip.  Whew--normal life--haha!  Also good news--the ruptured sebaceous cyst Fritz had healed up just fine, so no surgery!
On to my cards before the challenges end.
First is a floral card in Fall colors--not a leaf to be found!
Love SSS Anna's Flowers in any colors, but here I used Distress Oxides fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, abandoned coral & peeled paint.  The SSS sentiment die was cut from gold cardstock (inexpensive from Michaels & I love it!) & white cardstock scraps to stack it for some dimension.
I used some soft gold gems from my stash for just a bit of sparkle.  I entered SSS Wednesday & SSS Flickr.
My card for the PTI challenge to use a vellum accent reverts back to a design from when I started stamping, but I still love the look.
I started by stamping a branch from Turning a New Leaf in Simply Chartreuse & Ripe Avocado on a vanilla card.  Using the darker ink on the ends of the leaves doesn't really show since most of the stamping is covered with the vellum which I attached with a scrap of matching ribbon.
PTI Wonderful Words: Hello was die cut from champagne glitter Fun Foam.  The beautiful Champagne Lucy's Little Things were the perfect embellishment.  I'm also entering SSS MondaySSS Wednesday.

My 3rd card mini slimline card was made for Just Us Girls & ModSquad.  Gina K's Holiday Tapestry stamp set is a beauty & I realized the images don't have to be for the holidays.
Here I embossed with a beautiful old powder called Pewter.  It has a bit of glitter in it which is beautiful in person.  Love how it looks on the PTI Soft Stone panel.  The sentiment is from the Gina K set called Winter Hugs.  I was lucky to find it for a fraction of the original cost from a stamper purging her stash.  It included the dies & had never been used!
Love that it has sentiments for all year.  I added a black strip & 6 black sequins.  So honored that GKD actually noticed this card on IG & showed it in her stories.  I'm also entering SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.

Floral Cards

I love Uniko's Floral Vine stamp set, so wanted to use it for the Flowers Challenge.  I've had this design in mind for awhile, but changed it into a slimline for the challenge twist.
I used my MISTI to stamp the image 6 times & gold heat embossed on Bristol.  I colored with multiple Zigs & didn't use any water.  I stamped the sentiment from the set, splattered with gold & added gold sequins.  Really happy with how this turned out.
I saved up gift certificates & recently got PTI Into the Blooms II & Border Bling: Skinny Diagonals Frame.  One of my college roommates is recovering from a serious illness & I wanted to let her know I'm thinking of her.
Color Hues Yellow & Pink and PTI The Great Cover-Up touch of gold inspired my card.  The blooms were die cut from a paper pack with 2-3 shades of each color.  I inked the pink edges with Berry Sorbet & the yellow with Bright Buttercup.  The leaves were die cut from vellum & the centers were covered in yellow & pink Stickles.
The frame was die cut from PTI adhesive gold metallic cardstock & was attached to a panel of Vintage Cream which was attached with fun foam to a Vintage Cream card.  The sentiment is from PTI Effortless Beauties.  I'm also entering The Snippets Playground (pink center & frame were cut from scraps), Time Out & WAW.

Thought you might like to see another floral card I made last month.  This one was for the ITP PTI Challenge to use pigment type inks.
I was inspired by Melody's card with stamping on Border Bling: Tin Stitched, so that's what I did.  Bold Blooms images were stamped on Fresh Linen using Distress Oxide inks.  The sentiment is PTI Thick & Thin: Hello, the splatters are white gauche & the pearls are KaiserCraft Chino.  I tend to like cool colors, but really love how this turned out.  Maybe the summer heat is getting to me!

Fall Birthday & Christmas

I tried something new with my Altenew Tropical Fiesta watercolor markers.  First I lightly stamped the old PB Peony stamp in Versafine Vintage Sepia.  Then I colored with the markers directly on the rubber, spritzed & stamped--repeating until I was happy.  I do love adding splatters, especially to watercolored images.  Here I just used brown & gold.
I wanted to enter CAS Mix Up, so I cut my panel down, backed it with a couple pieces of cardstock & attached it to a square, kraft card.  I gold embossed the sentiment from another old PB set.
I'm hoping this counts as watercolor & that it's OK to have the image going off all 4 edges.  I like using deeper colors & kraft cards for Fall birthdays.  Hopefully my friend likes it, too.
Edited to add: Also entering PBSC.

I usually don't buy kits as I really only want some of the products.  However, I now have my first Hero Arts kit & here's my first card using it!
I stamped the 3 images using inks to go with the 2004 striped Doodlebug paper.  I had the stamps in my MISTI, so then I stamped in Versamark & embossed with HA Sparkle ep.  So pretty in person!
The dies line up easily on the stamped images.  I used TE Snowfall ef on the white rectangle mat for the house & added a couple pieces of cardstock for dimension that wouldn't require extra postage.  I added a bit of Stickles to the buttons, smoke & star.  The white embossed sentiments are in the stamp set, along with a lot of other images I can't wait to use.  I'm entering Stay Crafty with Hero Slimline Holiday via Flickr, ABNH, SSS Monday, SSS Wednesday, Christmas Kickstart & Let's Squash It.

My final card has a very non-traditional color combo:  Rose Gold & Navy.  I used SSS Poinsettia Background & colored with a blue Zig & wet brush.
The W&W Noel die cut was stacked 3 high & also embossed in the Rose Gold powder.  I tried a variety of foliage & colors, but in the end I chose the branches from SSS Christmas Foliage embossed in the Rose Gold powder.
I didn't like a blue or white edge, so I covered the edges of the card front in Versamark & embossed in Rose Gold.  I really enjoyed coloring & now I want to try using pink or red.  I'm entering SSS Monday, SSS Wednesday & Kathy's Coloring Challenge via IG.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.

WCMD Plus

I recently pulled out the beautiful PTI Botanical Blocks IV stamp set to enter ITP PTI Melissa's Fab Friday via IG.
I gold embossed the image & did some loose watercoloring with Zigs.  I added gold Stickles & used a panel of Classic Kraft for the mat.
The same Zigs were used to watercolor the sentiment from the same set & I mounted it with foam tape.
Love that ITP & PFS had challenges for WCMD.  Unfortunately, I forgot about the ITP challenges on IG until the last minute.  I had 2 hrs to enter, so picked the first challenge which was a color combo of blues, pinks & grays.  Botanical Blocks IV was still on my table, so I black embossed the holly image & again used Zigs for watercoloring.
Gotta say, I love the blue holly leaves with pink berries.  I used a gray marker to color the thin frame & attached the piece to a lighter blue textured cardstock mat.
Decided not to add a sentiment, so I can use this as a note card or put a sentiment on the inside.  I'm also entering SSS WCMD & WAW.

The PFS WCMD Challenges are open until the 11th.  So far I've made 3 cards--each for 2 of the challenges.  I entered Challenge 3 Stripes & Challenge 9 CAS through IG with this card using 3 images from Dainty Blossoms--one of my favorite die sets!
I colored them with 3 Copics which I also used to color 3 stripes cut with the Color Block Stripes die.  Great way to use up some of my white scraps.  The sentiment from Delicate Wreath was stamped in Memento Toffee Crunch & I added Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher dots.  I'm also entering The Snippets Playground.

Next is my entry for Challenge 2 Thank You & Challenge 7 Rainbow.  I used one of my newest dies, Layered Wreath.  I die cut the wreath from white cardstock & the separate little pieces from vellum.
The little flowers included in the set were colored with Copics, arranged in groups of 3 & embellished with a dot of Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher.  I attached the wreath to a square of vellum & stamped the sentiment from Delicate Wreath.  I'm also entering Double D.
Last is my entry for Challenge 5 Slimline cards & Challenge 6 No Stamping.  I used Slim Braided Circles Panel die, Classic Holiday Words dies & Christmas Wishes patterned papers.
I've been hoarding the paper pad for a long time, but fun to use some of the papers for this card.  The top layer of the words was die cut from red glitter tape & the shadow from vellum.
Finished off with Wedding Dress Pico Embellisher.  I'm also entering Allsorts.
