Autumn Wishes

I had a card with leaves in mind when I first saw the Sept W&W Color Combo.  Couldn't get it to work, but I was able to  make a winter note card.  Really loved the neutral monochromatic background, so I used the same 3 Distress Inks, but sponged them on a card front instead of smooshing.
Then I stamped a variety of images from In Bloom: Renee's Leaves using the same inks.  DI candied apple was used for the splatters & for the die cut word shadow.  The die cut & stamped words are from The Big, the Bold & Seasons.  The top die cut was sponged with the same inks as the background.  Fun to make matching twine by sponging with candied apple.  I seldom add buttons anymore, so glad to pull out one I've had for years.  It was a bit too shiny & gray, but inking with a COPIC solved that.  I'm also entering Word Art Wednesday.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
