Slowly getting back to normal after vacation. I've made a few cards, so thought I'd put them together in one post.
First is a happy accident using the negative gold water colored piece from this card's SSS sentiment. I tried to use it as a stencil with Versamark ink, but silly me, I used repositionable adhesive. Even though I left it in place to pour on the powders ( Zing Mustard, Apricot & Leaf), it ended up a mess. When I looked at the negative piece, though, it was kind of cool.
I added it to a kraft panel embossed with my favorite leafy folder & added some little gold Pico Embellisher dots. I'm entering Double D, Inkspirational & SSS Wednesday.
Next is a Christmas card using 4 dies from 4 companies--Lil' Inker, MFT, PTI and W&W. Love how this turned out, so clearly I'm drawn to clean & fresh designs.
The poinsettia is cut from white felt, the white strips are covered with Wink of Stella & the sentiment is gray cardstock stacked 3 high & clear embossed. I'm entering Christmas Card Challenges, CropStop & SSS Wednesday.
Edited to add: Also entering Rudolph Days.
Finally is my entry for Where Creativity Meets C9. I chickened out again & just used pieces of the C&9th Flourish stamp set. At least I've now inked up some stems & berries which I white embossed on Bristol paper.
Wish I'd used smooshing or ink blending instead of my Zigs, but no time to re-do it. The sentiment from the same set is stamped in Memento Nautical Blue & I used the same ink for the splatters. Can't see in the photo, but the panel is spritzed with Perfect Pearls for a beautiful shimmer. Finished off with clear Nuvo drops & a black frame. I'm also entering SSS Wednesday. Still catching up on everyone's blogs--thanks for stopping by.
Edited to add: Also entering SSS Monday.

Lots of different moods to your three today and each one so pretty. I really like the middle poinsettia card!! You keep using felt on projects and it's time I got mine out of their box!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Greta, I had to stop and take a closer look as your autumn card drew me right in at the DD. The embossing is so beautiful and I think it's the same folder I just bought but haven't used yet. The fall season seems so short, but maybe it will make its way onto a Thanksgiving card. I also love your Christmas card. A nice, simple design and that big "noel" is awesome. The striped paper makes everything pop. And then there's the wonderful simplicity of your third card. Love that, too! Thanks for sharing in our Leave it to Me challenge at Double D!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn cards, Greta! I love the felt flower with the stripes in got background, stunning cards today!
ReplyDeleteA trio of loveliness Greta! The embossing on your first card is extra pretty and I like your sweet felt bloom on the second. The last is wonderfully CAS!
