Next is another CAS Christmas card. This one was done with smooshing for emboss resist instead of ink blending.
The stamps are both by Impression Obsession. Fun to use gold sequins for berries & to distress the edges--something I don't do very often anymore. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
wonderful cards, Greta - the little pop of pink in the first is perfect and love the smooshing on the second card - i haven't distressed edges in ages - i just forget about some of these techniques that add that little extra touch.
ReplyDeleteThe pop of pink, on the first card, against the black and white is so classy and elegant. Great smooshing on the second card with the gold and yes haven't done the distress edges for ages either x Thank you for sharing as I don't do Flickr x
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards, Greta. I love the pink colour on white and black on the first card. As for the second, I love the gold sequins and the distressed edges! Kisses, my friend.

The pink and black is an elegant combo and I like the tiny accent bow. Drooling over the Christmas card Greta. I love that teal smooshing, the leaves are gorgeous and the sequins add a touch of shimmer; most of all I adore the font of that quote. Everything perfectly combined to create a special card. New fave for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted your cards here, it would have been awful to have missed them, both are really beautiful.

Two great cards. I so love the pop of pink on the rose in the first card. Love the idea of using the sequins for the berries. I have bag loads of sequins here in my stash, bought on an impulse and rarely get out and use. They are such beggars to catch if you drop them or the bag splits!! Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeletegorgeous stuff Greta.
ReplyDeleteI love the black and pink combination. Oh my, the second card just stands out for me. I love the aqua color and the gold is gorgeous for the berries.
