MFT & PTI

Wish I had a blog-writing Genie so I could just make cards!  They're piling up on my table with all the fun challenges right now!
First is my card for MFT Camp Create Fantastic Foiling.  As many of you know, I love using foil with self-adhesive fun foam.  But recently I got Flitter Glue after seeing it used in one of the MFT videos.  I wanted to try foiling a stamped image.  Luckily I have MFT Distressed Diamonds--just the right type of image to use.
I paired it with the smaller MFT poinsettia die which I cut from super sparkly glitter paper & vellum.  The sentiment is also MFT & is stamped in Versafine Deep Lagoon--a great match for my blue foil!  I'm also entering CropStop, HLS Anything With Dies & SSS Monday.

Next is my card for PTI Create Along With Us. Dawn's card reminded me that I still hadn't used the negative die cut from my MIM card

I mounted it to a Smokey Shadow panel.  Wonderful Words: Hello die cut was colored with the same Zigs, covered with Stickles (enlarge the picture to see the sparkle) & mounted with a white shadow.  The sentiment from the same set is stamped in Versafine Smokey Gray.
Ended up with a pretty flat card that packs a punch & will soon be in the mail.  I'm also entering ATSMCAS Mix Up & Virginia's View.

  5. Both are just stunning. Loved seeing the negative of that wonderful past hexagon design, and did the colors ever shine out against that dark background. Looks like the flitter glue worked perfectly for the beautiful foiling..and the white & blue with the texture of the white poinsettia is just so classy. TFS & Hugs (I'm with you on the blogging. If I post a card, then feel needs must then do lots of visits to the sweet folks who were kind enough to comment).
