My on-line stamping world began with the Hero Arts Flickr group & I still love participating in the 90 minute Scrambles. Tag It was the latest theme which challenged me, as I seldom make tags. Fortunately, earlier that morning I saw Donna's inspiration for the current challenge at Tag You're It.
The white Lil' Inker stitched rectangle die cut was on my table, so I used it for the tag. All the stamps are Hero Arts: Bold Pop Design, Stripes Pattern & Thinking of You Messages. Left overs of the SSS Clustered Leaves die cut from vellum were also on my desk, so I cut them into pieces to use behind the flower. The inks are Memento Nautical Blue & Love Letter which I also used for splatters. The flower is covered with WOS & a sparkly sticker is used for embellishment. The Firecracker twine from The Twinery is also still on my table so finished off tying it in a bow around some white satin ribbon. I'm also entering a2z Scrapbooking.
My card is for the MFT bonus birthday challenge & MFT color challenge. I die cut 10 flowers from Prima Donna Petals & embellished each with a lighter purple gem. They're attached to the MFT Spring Wreath which I die cut twice, turning my textured paper over for one of them so I they would be opposites to layer. The background is a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock smooshed with Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue & sponged on the edges with the same ink. Most of my cards are made to send to blogging friends for no specific occasion. I love this sentiment from PI-Snow Angel & tried something new using my Mini MISTI. First I stamped repeatedly with the same blue ink & then once over it in Versafine Smokey Gray which makes the gray match! I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies, SSS Monday & The Playground. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
