Celebrate America

Wishing my fellow Americans a Happy 4th of July!  I know it's almost over for some of you, but we've had a lazy day.  I started my day watching Amy's PTI MIM video using string art with die cuts--love the look!  Late last year I got this beautiful twine in a sale to make 4th of July cards & just opened it today.  Oh well, I'm getting a head start on next year's cards!  For some reason, I thought of the Floral Foliage die, so gave it a try.  Different, but kind of fun!  I added a big white sparkly dot to make it festive.  The background is a panel of Blueberry Sky stenciled with the PTI stars stencil I made for This MIM card in May.  The sentiment is a very old unmounted stamp I got at a convention years ago.  The panel was sprayed with Shimmer Spritz & mounted to a panel of Pure Poppy.  Next year think I better start mailing my cards the first of June--haha! I'm also entering CAS-ual Fridays, SSS Monday, SSS Wednesday & Die Cut Divas. Thanks so much for stopping by.
