WCMD with Friends

Cardmaking has given me friends around the world--a huge blessing in my life.  Cat, Betty & I would be a group if we didn't leave in different time zones!  But wait, via the internet we are a group--haha!  Cat asked Betty & I if we wanted to do our own challenge to celebrate WCMD & of course, we said yes.  Our challenge was to make a card using something given to us for a Fall/Winter card.  Here are their wonderful cards.

I have lots of goodies from these 2 sweet friends, but first I pulled out my Winnie & Walter hello die--a gift from a friend who no longer blogs.

I used SSS Antique Gold embossing powder sent to me by Susanne for the sunflower from W&W In Bloom: Addie's Garden.  The panel is Bristol paper so I could color with Zigs Yellow, Bright Yellow, Mustard & Brown.  When it dried I die cut the word & stacked it 3 high for just a bit of dimension.  Distress Stain Tarnished Brass was used for splatters & the gold alpha stickers are Heidi Swapp.  I'm entering W&W Dress Up Your Die Cuts, SSS WCMDMFT Flower Power & DCD.

I really wanted to use some of what Cat & Betty have sent to me, so here's my second card.
The Altenew Gradient Stripes die cut is from Betty & the Avery Elle bouquet stamped die cut is from Cat.  Last night I was working on Thanksgiving cards (not yet posted) & discovered a combo of Distress Markers I really like.  They were still on my table, so I used some of them:  dusty concord, faded jeans, peeled paint & wild honey.  Cat had also used Bristol paper & it worked great for these markers which I blended with my waterbrush.  I added Stickles to the berries & black Pico Embellisher for the flower centers.  The sentiment is from PRS Fall Colors.  Added 3 gold stickers & mounted the bouquet with foam tape.  I'm entering W&W Black & White Background, SSS WCMD, MFT Flower Power.
