NBUS Bonus Day

Thankfully, Darnell added a day to NBUS Challenge #12.  I've intended to use the Just Rite Christmas set I bought around 5 years ago for the last several NBUS challenges, but never did.  I was told to just attach the unmounted stamps to an acrylic block with poster tape.  I've done that several times with some of my many unmounted stamps.  However, the stamp I chose from this set would only partially stamp & since I was running out of time, I just used scissors to trim out the center with the sentiment which stamped OK.
The embossing powder is Liquid Platinum.  I framed it with MFT Stitched Oval Scallop Frames cut from white cardstock & fun foam.  Can't remember using these dies, so think it's NBUS, too.  Everything is attached to a Spellbinders oval cut from navy linen cardstock.  I used a very old Cuttlebug embossing folder on the card front & added 3 PPP Marshmallow sequins as I didn't want anything flashy.  Simple card as my mojo seems to have left me.  I'm also entering SSS Wednesday.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

  5. What a lovely card and simply beautiful sentiment, Greta! I have a few old cling stamps that don't 'cling' very well so they are stored on my Mt. NBUS too!

  11. It's beautiful, Greta! When I first glanced at it, it looked like somehow you had suspended those center panels in thin air, until I read it was navy paper! I know you are a card magician, but there are limits, lol! Thank you so much for playing again in my NBUS Challenge #12! I hope your mojo comes back soon!! Hugs, Darnell
