Smooshing Distress Inks became one of my favorite techniques after I learned to do one color at a time, drying between colors. I also find that using heavy weight watercolor paper gives me the best results.
This card is made from 1/2 of the panel. I chose colors that represent the green grass, blue sky & sunshine of summer: mowed lawn, salty ocean & squeezed lemonade. The SSS Clustered Leaves was die cut from vellum & the SSS Small Hello was the perfect greeting. My friend, Martha, had sent me a few of the word cuts so I could see if I want to get the die. It really is a great size for cards & I love the font. Finished off with some PPP clear dots. I'm entering these challenges: SSS Flickr #46, AAA Cards & CAS Mix Up. Thanks so much for stopping by.
I love how soft you left the colors, Greta! This is really beautiful! Thanks so much for playing in the SSS Flickr challenge!
