Finished 3 cards over the last couple days, so I'm putting them all in one post.
I'm not disoriented even though my MFT Camp Create card for the Delightful Die Cutting Creative Challenge is for Halloween! I did a very simple version of partial die cutting with the tallest MFT Primitive Pumpkins die. Even so, I put the top cutting plate on the wrong side of the pumpkin the first time--haha! All the die cuts are stamped with the coordinating stamps using VersaMagic Mango & Hint of Pesto. I added Stickles & used foam tape for the little pumpkin. Cream lace from a blogging friend grounds the images & the panel is attached to the card with foam tape. I used Hint of Pesto for the sentiment from the same set. Now I've earned my 4th camp badge--one to go! I'm also entering CAS Mix Up hoping the lace counts for my choice.
I just had to make some cards for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop as my sweet friend, Judy (Runs With Scissors), recently gave me the Penny Black Love Cup die set. I love fancy cups, so decided to use my newly acquired Lawn Fawn plaid paper pad. The heart from the die set is covered with Wink of Stella & Diamond Glaze--so pretty in person. The sentiments are done with tiny alphabet stickers--boy have them come in handy!
The first card is going to my sister (favorite color blue) with a coffee shop gc. We love to sit in her back yard or on my deck drinking our coffee whenever we visit each other. She could use a smile right now. I'm also entering The Playground, as the blue punched piece was in the scrap box, SSS Monday & Twofers.
The other card could go to any of you--my wonderful blogging friends! I'd love to be sipping a mocha with you right now! The background is done with little images from SSS Hello Friends & it's good to use my Spellbinder oval--it's been ages.
I'll enter the Blog Hop & SSS Flickr Challenge #47 via Flickr. Also entering SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
Woo hooo! First comment! Your partial die-cut pumpkins card: fantastic! I tried that technique and...well, let's just say more practice needed! Your sister will definitely smile when she receives your cheery coffee card, as will the 'friend' receiving the second one! Fresh, fun and fabulous!
