Last night I was able to finish a couple cards. First up is my entry for PTI Create Along With Us. I pinned a lot of the DT cards, but finally decided to case the design of this card by Nicole. I pulled out Watercolor Wonder & stamped the images in PTI Lavender Moon, Spring Rain & Mint Julep. The dots from Harvest Berries are stamped in Soft Stone.
My first time to do a double sentiment this way--just love it! I used Splits: Just A Note & Wonderful Words: Hello with Soft Stone & Versafine Smokey Gray. The whole card is covered in Shimmer Spritz for a lovely sheen. I'm also entering Share Joy.
Next is my card for day 2 of MFT Camp Create. The video shows a darling slider card, but the creative challenge is make a card with any type of movable part. I don't have the supplies for sliders or wobblers, so had to improvise.
Needed a card for Fritz to give Daddy so for the first time I used the dog from MFT Boy & His Dog Snow Adorable. I colored with markers, fussy cut & added Diamond Glaze. The Memory Box heart die cut was stamped with an old Stampin' Up paw print & then I attached the dog using a spring from an old pen (cut down) & Diamond Glaze. May not hold up too well, but trust me, the doggy moves when you gently push down on his nose--kind of fun!

The words are from MFT Complimentary Greetings. For the inside I used another MFT set & colored the little heart to match the doggy's scarf. Think hubby will get a kick out of this card!
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. I'll catch up with you as soon as I can. I'm also entering Double D.
Wonderful creation Greta! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘One for the Boys’! We hope you’ll come back often.

That's a great card from Fritz and a great idea to use the spiral from an old biro cut down for the wobble effect. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that Fritz gives a card to your hubby for fathers day. I forgot to make one for my Dad from the cats, but I might be able to make one for him when he gets back Wednesday. YOur first card is really eye catching. I love that soft color off on the right side with the double sentiment stamping.

ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! Love the watercolor card and the sweet little dog on the second one. Have a lovely week, Greta!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous CASE of Nicole's card....Love those splotches of color edging. What a marvelous way you've done the doggie heart. Brilliant idea to use the pen spring to create your wobble, and I would never have thought of that ...so inspired & creative. I'm always more impressed with how a cardmaker adapts supplies than if all the 'inspiration supplies' are on hand. This is just delightful with the pawprint heart, and I bet both your 'boys' loved it. I surely did! TFS & have a great week.
ReplyDeleteAhhh... so awesome, hate to miss all those fun at MFT!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Greta your first card is outstanding!! I love the split sentiment and the fun "Splotches" : ) FUN! wobbly pup as well! what a blessing you are!: )
