While at the Bay, I read old stamping magazines & sketched some ideas for the Winnie & Walter Share The Love Challenges. I have very limited W&W and EH products, so have to get creative. As soon as I got the refrigerator unloaded I took a break & made this card. Not exactly what I sketched, but I think it's actually better!
The W&W In A Word: Hello was die cut from fun foam to make a stamp. I used second generation stamping with Versafine Smokey Gray & sponged with Brilliance Starlite Black. Then I die cut Hello from silver glitter & white cardstock. Leaves from EH Bold Blossoms were die cut from white cardstock & inked with VersaMagic Ocean Depth then brushed with Wink of Stella. The leaves were attached & then the word die cut, using foam adhesive. Finished off with Pico Embellisher dots I had previously dried on release paper. That way I could choose the size of the dots & where to put them. I'm entering the Day 2 Sentimental challenge. May be too much of a stretch, but I'll let the DT decide at Freshly Made Sketches & I'll join in at The Playground & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
Beautiful card Greta, love when this design is done using just sentiments as the main feature of the card.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea to cut the foam for the word and then use it as the stamp for the other two.
