Decided to add the little bow from PPP Twine & Bows (Blog Candy from Cat), so I sponged another scrap. I die cut 3 bows of each color & covered the top one with Diamond Glaze & a dot of Crystal Stickles which also embellishes the scallop edges. The fun Hero Arts sentiment is from the 2009 Happy Hello set. I used my Mini MISTI to get a good inking with Versafine Vintage Sepia. The panel is mounted with foam tape & the bottom corners are rounded. Simple, CAS card, but fun to make! I'm also entering CropStop, HLS Anything Goes with Dies, The Playground, Die Cut Divas, Virginia's View & Word Art Wednesday.

A Happy Hello
Fun challenge at Pretty Pink Posh--Pick a DT card to inspire a rainbow creation. I've been wanting to make a card with a series of border dies, so I picked the second card. I used the scalloped border from PPP Stitched Borders 3. I inked a scrap of white cardstock with these 5 Memento colors: Love Letter, Morocco, Dandelion, Cottage Ivy & Nautical Blue. Those inks are so easy to sponge--love them!

Our last camping trip had a variety of weather, but anytime you can wear short sleeves at the Oregon Coast, you know it's a good day--haha! There was enough sun Fritz chose to take his nap in the shade of hubby's chair. We got home to find this gorgeous rose which I promptly brought into the house. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

ReplyDeleteHow fun your rainbow card is, Greta! A happy hello, indeed! Your camping photos are fabulous; we need some 'summer sun', especially since my husband is racing (finally) tomorrow! I'm the chief official for the event and will quite enjoy being in a car staying warm and dry, following a group. Poor riders if the rain comes down...as long as everyone stays upright, it's all good!
