Red & Green Christmas

Sketch by Alexandra
Finally getting a card entered at Merry Monday, so maybe now I'll be back on track to do it every week.  As soon as I saw this sketch by Alexandra, I had an idea & it worked!  The Penny Black poinsettia script stamp is white embossed on watercolor paper & then sprayed with Tattered Angels Candy Apple Red & English Ivy.  I added Stickles to the flower centers.  The sentiment is also Penny Black--yuletide greetings--& is stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black.
A very flat card for mailing & actually I don't think it needs any other embellishments.  I do love making Christmas cards! Work tomorrow & we visit hubby's daughter Saturday, so I may be a little slow getting to your blogs. Thanks so much for stopping by.

  10. Greta, my dear friend, I've fallen 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) posts behind with commenting, but not with gazing and admiring in delight and awe at your wonderful creations. You know that everything you make - and especially the stunning poinsetta card here - sets my heart pitter-pattering...love them all immensely! Always so much innovation and inspiration! I need to get myself organized...work is *not fun* right now *grin*
