As you can see, Mr. Fritz is thoroughly enjoying our unusual winter weather! Loves laying on the deck in the morning sun. Rain is predicted & we certainly need some, so he may have to go back to wearing his raincoat soon.
The current SSS Flickr challenge is to make a CAS card & it must be 1 layer. I made my card from heavy weight ivory cardstock. Then I scribbled on a long, narrow acrylic block with Distress Markers tumbled glass, scattered straw & bundled sage, spritzed with water & pressed it onto the card front. The flowers & sentiment from SSS Warm Wishes is stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black. I recently found that clear stamps love that black ink! I added some splotches of the black with a wet paintbrush.
Simple card once I finally figured out what to do for the look I wanted. This could be a pretty set with different colors & sentiments. I'm also entering the Sprinkle challenge at Inkspirational (splotches for sprinkles!) & Addicted to CAS code word: Distress (Distress markers). Thanks so much for stopping by.
