I set aside my first "smooshed" card, thinking I didn't like it & went on to make yesterday's card with my second try. Today I looked at my discard & decided to finish it. I added the splatters of PTI Royal Velvet & Enchanted Evening. The flower & leaves from Lil' Inker Modern Mehndi were white embossed on the matching die cuts, sponged with the inks & covered with Wink of Stella.
I stamped a sentiment from the same set in Brilliance Graphite Black. Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle provides the stitching & I added a few white sequins. I'm entering the second Lil' Inker Monthly Meet Up Challenge, Virginia's View Embossing challenge & JUGS splatters challenge. Thank you for taking time to stop at my blog.
This is gorgeous! I love the concentrated colors behind the flower with the soft splatters. Glad you decided to finish this. Thanks for playing with us at JUGS!

ReplyDeleteEveryone is smooshing these days! I don't even have time to smoosh a bug on the floor let alone try a new technique. I like your card here with the little smooshed corner accent. Very nice!
