I do not draw & I do not doodle! But I hate to miss a PTI MIM challenge, so when our plans changed to staying home yesterday I watched Ashley's video. I was skeptical but figured wasting a little ink & paper was no big deal. My last PTI order included the beautiful Friendly Flowers set because I loved the cards Rosemary made here & here. Thought they would be a good choice to make it as simple as possible to do the doodling.
I played around with lots of colors & settled on Hawaiian Shores for the large & small blossoms with Aqua Mist for the text, also PTI. I wasn't happy with any of my pens & then I saw the Distress black soot marker & the fine tip end worked great. I doodled around the petals & added dots to the flower centers which I covered with Stickles.
The sentiment from Friendly Flowers is stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black. Finished off with DeNami twine & white sequins. Must admit it was fun to do a bit of doodling & I might even try it again. I love the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches & used it for my layout. Thanks so much for stopping by.
To be honest I thought your doodling was all part of the flower and was looking for some other doodles!! Great card and loving those colours. Hugs Mrs A.
