Hi There!

Hubby wanted a card to send to a woman out of state who is helping him with the genealogy research on his mother's side.  She recently moved into a new apartment.  I thought it'd be fun to use one of the SSS Village dies.  White cardstock was swiped with PTI Kraft ink & I added more of the ink to the roof.  The windows are backed with vellum. The little tree dies are included in the Village set. SSS A2 Curved Edge die was used with this sweet Doodlebug paper I've had for years.  I added Prisma glitter to all but the smallest flowers--love that sparkle!  The card front is dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The sentiment from SSS Warm Wishes was white embossed, sponged with the kraft ink, trimmed by hand into a flag & edged with a brown marker.  I mounted it with the center slightly raised & attached a small paper flower with the edges glittered & the center embellished with a white sequin & green enamel dot.  The little green accent strip is cut with MFT Pinking Edge die.  Just in the nick of time to enter the SSS Flickr Challenge (I don't have any Lawn Fawn) & the green lets me join in at SSS Monday & this is going to a special woman so I'll play at SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by!
