BD Card for a Guy

I wanted to play along with The Male Room's sketch challenge. Hopefully it's OK to move the sentiment to the top.  I started by sponging unevenly over a Heidi Swapp stencil with Distress Ink antique linen & then sponged a bit more on the edges.  Three of the images from PTI Turning a New Leaf were stamped on the squares in VersaMagic Hint of Pesto, Niagara Mist & Sage.  I sponged the edges with antique linen. The middle square is mounted with 1 layer of foam tape & the bottom one with 2 layers. An old Hero Arts sentiment is stamped in Hero Arts Cup O' Joe.

Always good to have birthday cards ready. The 3 shades of green let me enter at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge & B is for Birthday to enter SSS Monday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

  16. This is lovely. The design is very good for a male card. The leaves come across as gray on my computer and they look just as good as green.

  23. Wow! I really love that "uneven stenciling" that you did. It gives the background such visual variety. I'll have to steal that little technique for myself! I also love how this is a masculine card (which I always struggle with), yet it is still pretty. You've combined the lovely with the manly perfectly! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
