My focus was on "a world of one color." Tim Holtz Tree Line die (just bought from our challenge sponsor, Stamp Simply) was die cut from heavy weight black cardstock.
My night sky was made by brushing a light blue cardstock panel with Distress Oxide pumice stone, faded jeans and prize ribbon. I purposely didn't make it a smooth blend, so it would be a more realistic sky. The sentiment from Hero Arts very old Leaf Prints stamp set was black embossed and I brushed the edges with black ink. The stars were made with dots of liquid glue and prisma fine glitter. This reminds me of our camping days enjoying nature's beauty far away from the city. I'd love to see you in the gallery. I'm entering SSS Monday and Stay Crafty with Hero.
Love your night sky and the gorgeous silhouette die with it -a perfect pair! The stars look great too! xx

ReplyDeleteA lovely winter scene on your beautiful card, Greta! Pretty sky and wonderful silhouette with the trees! We had a little snow here this morning and may get more tomorrow, but at least the temps are improving. We have to bundle up when we go out. Sheila tolerates getting bundled up and hurries back in, lol! Take care, hugs!
