I did the same thing to the sentiment strip with the silver embossed Uniko Stunning Snowflakes sentiment. I'm also entering Christmas Kickstart.
I've been debating what to do for the Gina K December Monthly Mix Challenge, use ink blending. We needed a card for a lady going through a tough time, so I pulled out GK A Happy Hello. The blooms & leaves were clear embossed using the MISTI so I could flip the panel & restamp each image.
That turned out to be an easier way for me to stamp an entire panel. I used to always white emboss, but I like the slightly softer look you get doing emboss resist with clear embossed images. The Distress Oxide inks are salvaged patina & cracked pistachio. Really love how they go together. For the sentiment I used the GK Friend die stacked 2 high. I added a thin, black mat & white sequins after spritzing heavily with shimmer mist.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. Wishing all of you a safe, healthy Christmas. If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.
