Pinkfresh Studio and Papertrey Ink

I was lucky to win a PFS gift certificate recently, so I was able to get the PFS Wintry Forest stencil.  Shouldn't be any surprise that a gal from the beautiful Pacific Northwest would pick that set!
I used Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness, varying the intensity.  Kinda looks like layers of fog in the trees, which you often see in our area.  Wish I could say I did that on purpose--haha!  The snow was made by splattering white gouache.  I partially die cut the panel with PFS Braided Tag & attached it to a white card.
One of the PFS Classic Holiday words was die cut from green metallic cardstock & a white scrap brushed with gouache mixed with Pixie Dust.  The white shadow was too stark, so I lightly brushed the edges with Rustic Wilderness.  I'm entering PFS December challenge.
Here's the card I made for PTI The Great Cover-Up challenge: Floral Joy to the World card.  I made a monochromatic bouquet stamping & diecutting images from PTI Joyful Florals.
The inks are Autumn Rose, Lovely Lady & Weathervane.  The branches were stamped on Soft Stone diecuts to give a little variation since I didn't want to add another color.  The sentiment from the set was double silver embossed.  I splattered gray & silver inks on the bouquet & card front.
You might be able to see Fine Prisma Glitter accents I did using a Quickie Glue Pen.  They add a lot of sparkle in person.  I'm also entering The Flower Challenge: Christmas.
We had such a dry Spring & Summer that we almost forgot what it was like to have rainy weather--haha!  Fritz really doesn't like heavy rain, so I have to act like there's a squirrel or cat in the back yard to get him to go out!  We both have good raincoats.  If it's just our usual rain we still walk, but not as far.  Doesn't he look cute?
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.

  8. The tree card is beautiful and the Joy card is lovely but the star of this post is Fritz. He looks so dapper and the perfect gentleman in his raincoat. Daisy won't go out when it's raining! Maybe if she looked as cool as Fritz, she would want to show off. Merry Christmas, my sweet friend.
