One of the PFS Classic Holiday words was die cut from green metallic cardstock & a white scrap brushed with gouache mixed with Pixie Dust. The white shadow was too stark, so I lightly brushed the edges with Rustic Wilderness. I'm entering PFS December challenge.
PTI The Great Cover-Up challenge: Floral Joy to the World card. I made a monochromatic bouquet stamping & diecutting images from PTI Joyful Florals.
The inks are Autumn Rose, Lovely Lady & Weathervane. The branches were stamped on Soft Stone diecuts to give a little variation since I didn't want to add another color. The sentiment from the set was double silver embossed. I splattered gray & silver inks on the bouquet & card front.
You might be able to see Fine Prisma Glitter accents I did using a Quickie Glue Pen. They add a lot of sparkle in person. I'm also entering The Flower Challenge: Christmas.
We had such a dry Spring & Summer that we almost forgot what it was like to have rainy weather--haha! Fritz really doesn't like heavy rain, so I have to act like there's a squirrel or cat in the back yard to get him to go out! We both have good raincoats. If it's just our usual rain we still walk, but not as far. Doesn't he look cute?
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.
Love the way you've done those 'foggy' trees Greta and well done winning a certificate. The stencilling looks amazing. The second card is so very pretty and delicate and love the double silver embossing. Sending hugs to Fritz x.ReplyDelete
Beautiful cards, Greta! I especially love the one with the trees!!! And Fritz looks absolutely adorable in his raincoat!!!!ReplyDelete
You have been busy posting the last few days, I have had a scroll through and enjoyed all your cards and tag. Congrats on your win, I have been looking at those tree stencils, they make a fantastic forrest scene. Green is my favourite colour so I love everything about that card, your second card is beautiful too, love the softness of it. Thanks for sharing a photo of Fritz, he does indeed look cute xxReplyDelete
love the tree stencil card and so clever to cut it out with a tag - and the pink and gray floral is gorgeous - and finally Fritz is adorable!!ReplyDelete
Two pretty cards, Greta I like the soft colors! But Fritz steals the spotlight! He looks dapper in his rain coat!ReplyDelete
Two fab cards, Greta - especially love that forest stencil. I have a different brand but really love what you did with the PTI one!! Gorgeous floral too!! And Fritz - so darling in his plaid!!ReplyDelete
These two cards are so pretty. The green trees stencil looks amazing and just love those florals.ReplyDelete
The tree card is beautiful and the Joy card is lovely but the star of this post is Fritz. He looks so dapper and the perfect gentleman in his raincoat. Daisy won't go out when it's raining! Maybe if she looked as cool as Fritz, she would want to show off. Merry Christmas, my sweet friend.ReplyDelete
wonderful set of cards, greta! the stenciling on the first one is fabulous and yes... it reminds me of a misty forest here in the northwest!ReplyDelete
Greta, I adore pink at Christmas time! Your Poinsettias are so very beautiful - and add the silvery grey and I'm in Heaven!ReplyDelete
