Variety of Cards

October is almost over, so gotta get these cards entered into the challenges.  I'll try to keep the explanations brief.  I admit to focusing on the pictures when I read blogs, unless there's something I have questions about.
First up is another CAS card using PTI Splits: 'Tis the Season.  This time I embossed in silver & stamped in Enchanted Evening.
The silver frame is PTI Pierced Feature Rectangle.  There's Stickles on the dripping wax & berries.  I'm entering Rudolph Days.
The rest of my cards are for Fall/Thanksgiving.  First is my entry for the Altenew October challenge.  A sweet friend shared her gc with me, so I was able to get the Leafy Border die that had been on my wishlist since I first saw it.
I inked cardstock with DO fossilized amber & die cut it twice to layer.  The background was done by smooshing 3 green DIs on wc paper.  The fancy hello was stacked, inked with DO peeled paint & covered in Nuvo Glaze.  Love the brown sequins for a subtle touch of bling.

Next is my entry for ITP/PTI Leaves in Fall inspiration challenge.  I pulled out the extra dies that go with Fancy Foliage & inked them with about all the PTI green inks.
The sparkle on the ends was done with a Quickie Glue pen & Vintage Platinum Glitter Dust.  The panel is Cover Up: Diamonds stamped in Fine Linen on a Fine Linen panel.  Instead of a bird, I used Butterfly Hope die with MFT Orange Zest felt.
I attached the 2 die cuts in the center only & added brown pearls down the body.  The sentiment is from ITP Bold Blooms.  I'm also entering The Snippets Playground with lots of white snippets used for the leaves.

Last is my entry for the October Gina K Monthly Mix.  My newest GK stamp set is A Big Hello.  The dies for the set were sent to me in error when I placed an order from a store that carries a lot of brands.  They sent me what I'd ordered & told me to just keep the dies.  Tricky, tricky--haha!  Of course, I wanted the stamp set which I had on my wishlist.  Didn't want to spend that much money, but the next time there was a sale you know what happened!
It is a beautiful set I'm glad to have.  I made my color block panel by swiping DI cubes in carved pumpkin, twisted citron & fossilized amber.  The image was stamped in Versafine Clair Acorn & I splattered a dark brown Zig.  The sentiment from the set was popped up & I decided against bling this time.  I'm also entering SSS Wednesday & WAW.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.

  9. Busy gal, your four cards are quite seasonal. I think I was most grabbed by that felt butterfly. I love the thought of that extra texture on your card. All are lovely, Greta.

  10. Absolutely gorgeous collection of cards, Greta. I was thinking I'd pick a favorite, but I think that would be too difficult to do. They are all lovely, and each one so unique. I have a bit of a strange question for you...I see that you recently won a challenge at Ink to Paper, and was wondering if you had been able to claim your prize? I won about a month ago, and have left at least 10 emails at every address I can find for ITP or PTI customer service, and still nothing. If you have been able to claim your prize, I wonder if you might be able to tell me how you did it? Tx. Joyce (joyce.mehrberg@gmail.com)
