BIG Pumpkin!

A year ago this month I was at a crafty friends retreat in Indiana.  So glad we didn't put it off a year.  You never know what the future is going to bring.  We did some shopping at the stamp stores in Nashville, Indiana.  One of the gals pointed out the sale box where I found a couple large Memory Box dies for $5.  I didn't get around to using them last year, but today I made a card with Plush Pumpkin.
Fun to pull out my floss & do a little stitching.  I've had this beautiful plaid paper for years.  Luckily there was enough left to cut the PTI frame along with the leaf & sentiment strip from the reverse side.  The pumpkin was sponged with DO Spiced Marmalade to give a bit of variation to the look.  I stamped the PRS frame & sentiment in Versafine Clair Acorn & finished off with brown sequins.  I'm entering Outside the Box, ModSquad & TTT (Die Cut, Fall Sentiment, Designer Paper).

  18. This is one beautiful pumpkin! I love the story behind it too - and so true. As I look back on years past, it makes all the things we did that much more special, because the future is always uncertain. Hopefully it wont be too long now before we can go back to life as usual! xoxo
