Thought it'd be fun to use the same stamps & design for a totally different look. The stamps are PTI Botanical Blocks IV. The new card was made by stamping the poinsettia block & sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne--fabulous ink!
NEW CARD
I used my mini MISTI, but only had to stamp one time. So glad I did get some Zigs awhile after everyone was talking about them. Even though I can't really color, I'm generally happy with my messy watercoloring. Can't see in the photo, but the berries & dots are colored with a gold gel pen. I added splatters with the darker purple Zig & decided against score lines & tiny bead flower centers this time. I'm really glad I got this stamp set & am anxious to use the holly block. I'm also entering ATC, HLS Christmas & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.
Both cards are really gorgeous, Greta! I love how you used your Zigs to color the blooms on your new card and your splatters are just perfect! I've been thinking about picking up a few of these sets, and you've convinced me to go for it...Thanks! Also...Thanks so much for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS!
Greta, this card is soooo stunning!! Speaking of IG, when I saw this card as I was scrolling through, I squealed! Your ZIG color is absolutely lovely and I'm so glad you're liking playing with them! I find them much easier to use than traditional watercolors, and the colors are so vibrant! Hope to see more of your beautiful watercoloring!
I really liked your first original card and then WOW! I see your remake and think it's just as lovely! Both are stunning cards!
