My friend Jessi is the guest designer this week at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday. She made a beautiful vellum card for my challenge 2 weeks ago & I was determined to play along in hers.
Would you believe I've never made a shaker card, until now?! Most of the ones I see are cute cards which I usually don't make. Decided to go for it anyway. I wanted to use the sets I just received: Chrysanthamums & So Distressed. I've had the beautiful Perfectly Pierced Victorian Oval die (made for Flourishes) a long time & finally used it. Have to say, I love the softness & sparkle Stampendous! Shaved Ice gives my shaker & it lets me enter the challenge at Die Cut Divas.
Not sure my blue is close enough, but there's some variation in what the DT made so I'll let the gals at the brand new Colour Me! challenge blog decide.
Thank you so much for visiting--your comments always give me a lift.

ReplyDeleteGreta, my apologies for my tardy visit; computer critters nibbling away at something! Fingers crossed my comment will stick! Your shaker card is fabulous, and being a first time: triple wow, triple cheering, triple applause! Beautiful colors/frame and the shakers are sparkly delights! Awesome! I've been shying away from shaker cards. I just know my sparkles would end up trapped on adhesive, or spilling out! Your inspiration, however, has me thinking! Wonderful card! Hugs~c
