Another Valentine
I'm having so much fun making Valentines this year. MFT now has 2 challenges & this card works for both: Wednesday Sketch Club and the monthly Color Palette--January is pink, black & white--the MFT company colors! Pink is my favorite color & I love using it with black & white.
I started with watercolor paper inked with spun sugar & spritzed with Tattered Angels. The Memory Box heart was die cut & embossed from one piece. On the square I used molding paste with a Heidi Swapp stencil & added worn lipstick Stickles when it dried. I also stamped a star from MFT Tag You're It randomly in white ink--hard to see in the picture. The sentiment & hearts are from Lovey Dovey Sentiments & are black embossed on a strip of the watercolor paper. The Open Bracket Border black die cut is attached to the sentiment strip. My layered flowers are made using MFT pink felt with Layered Rose & Prima Donna Petals dies. Hope you like my girly Valentine.

ReplyDeleteI have been following these Valentine Cards with enthusiasm. and although I do not send any myself, I still like to view what designs are created with Hearts, and my goodness this Heart that you are working with is producing gorgeous cards. I think this one is my favourite so far, albeit I really like the others as well, but it is the colour Palette and complimentary bracket border that wows me here.

ReplyDeleteI love your girly valentine, it's beautiful. The embossed heart is fabulous along with the tiny ones with glitter. Have fun with the Dylusions inks ! They will wash off your hands eventually :) Shirleyx
