Valentine for Next Year

I mean to spread out my posts, but didn't work out that way this week.  One of my sweet blogging friends let me borrow her new IO die called Lacy Hearts & I love it!  Here's my first card using it & the IO sentiment Happy Valentine Day.
I had a beautiful red cardstock scrap just big enough for the hearts & I attached it with spray adhesive to a panel of pink cardstock brushed with a shimmer pen.  Boy is it pretty in person.  The sentiment was stamped in black & embossed with WOW Clear Braille Ultra High embossing powder which I've had a long time & never used.  It's rather chunky & I did it twice.  Think it looks kinda cool with this somewhat funky script.
I've seen some people fussy cutting sentiments lately, so decided to give it a try.  That way I covered less of the beautiful background & could add the silver thread behind it.  The hearts die is on clearance & I just ordered one for me.  I'm entering Impression Obsession Hugs & Kisses ChallengeFusion where I haven't played in a long time.
