It's time to celebrate PTI's 11th anniversary and Winnie & Walter's 4th. So far I have one card done for each, so decided I better get them posted.
First up is my card for the PTI Sketch Challenge. I used the one by Dawn McVey, but substituted a hearts embossing folder for the stenciling.
The white oval die cut frame was laying on my table, so figured I may as well use it. I'm still making Valentines & went with a favorite color combo--gray, white & pink. The card front is Smokey Shadow, the Rosie Posie original & Step 2 blooms are Lovely Lady & Hibiscus Burst, the leaves are Soft Stone with several inkings of the detail stamp. When I don't want black, my favorite ink is Brilliance Starlite Black which I used for the Savvystamps sentiment flag. Finished off with PPP clear solid sequins & light pink sequins. Can't see it, but the blooms are brushed with Wink of Stella. I'm also entering Stamping Sensations & WAW.
Next is my entry for the W&W Repetitive stamping challenge.
I stamped one of the fun images in Scenery: Stripes 2 in VersaMagic Aegean Blue, Spring Pansy & Pink Petunia to make my background. I heavily spritzed with Perfect Pearls--never get tired of that shimmer!
The die cut, stamped & white embossed leaves are from In Bloom: Addie's Garden. I attached 2 of them over a silver thread nest & the 3rd one to the sentiment strip. Speaking of sentiment--isn't that a great one?! It's from Poppystamps Friends and Flowers stamped in Brilliance Starlite Black. Lately I've had trouble with my Nuvo Drops, but this time the white worked perfectly. I'm also entering CropStop. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
