I've had an idea for a card to enter in the W&W Four Challenge & finally gave it a try. You know how I love making Christmas cards, so I'm a happy camper!
The flower from W&W In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals was stamped in Memento Rhubard Stalk & the branches from the same set were stamped in SSS Stone. I used my extra fine white Sharpie on the flower centers to make them stand out a bit more. Haven't done the camouflage die cut technique for awhile & this might be my favorite so far! The Wink of Stella on the word is so beautiful & I used PPP Sparkling Clear Confetti for embellishment.
I do love splatters, so couldn't resist adding tiny ones of the Rhubarb Stalk. Told myself to open the card before die cutting the word, but would you believe I didn't?! Where there's a will there's a way & sure enough, I saved it. Just used lots of double sided tape to tape it shut & then attached it to a card. Whew! My card has several fours: flowers, branches, letters in the word & die cut word layers. I'm also entering HLS Christmas challenge & WAW.
Edited to add: Almost forgot to enter W&W Die Challenge.
Next is an anniversary card I'm entering at Die Cut Divas & Poppystamps. I recently won the new PS die called Triple Heart Twirl & had to try it out.
Using simple partial die cutting I got a row of 5 hearts which I backed with a very sparkly silver glitter paper scrap laying on my table.
I mounted it with foam tape to a card front covered with blue cardstock. The sentiment is from a very old well-loved Hero Arts stamp set called Find Joy. I really like the look of clear embossing powder over Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink. Three PPP Sparkling Clear sequins were added for embellishment. I'm also entering The Snippets Playground & Stamplorations. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
