Heart Resist

Almost forgot to enter my card for the Impression Obsession I Adore You challenge which is about to close.  I still love the beautiful heart image, C2024, I've had quite awhile.
The image was clear embossed on white cardstock & then I blended with Distress Oxides wilted violet & worn lipstick.  It's framed with another of my unused All-in-One Frames Ovals from my first 2 cuts.  I'm loving all the sizes you get with one run through the die cut machine.  This frame has 2 glued together for a bit of dimension, but flat enough for mailing.  I like the slightly softer look by clear embossing instead of using white powder.  The front of the card is covered with a white shimmer cardstock.  I used to buy this in every color whenever I saw it in a store on sale.
The focal point also has shimmer from Perfect Pearls mist & I finished off with Nuvo glitter drops.  I'll put a Valentine sentiment on the inside & it will go to a friend.  I'm also entering SSS Monday, SSS Wednesday & WAW.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
Edited to add: also entering SSS Work it Wednesday.

  7. So pretty and shimmery and I've never seen that stamp before. Just the thing with Valentine's day peeking around the corner. Love the die cut frame; a good contrast with the softly blended oxides. TFS

  9. Yes the embossing in clear looks slightly softer than white. I tend to forget to do that x Such a delicate and pretty heart stamp with great blended colours on the background. The black frame looks dramatic and looks stunning...Love the soft sparkle/shine too of the mists x
