Thank you all for your good wishes & concern. I'm much better--just taking a long time to get rid of all the crud. Hubby's hand may not blister after all--so far, so good! There's never a shortage of inspiration to play along in the PTI CAWU challenge. This month I kept going back to admire Melissa's wreath card on Day 2 of the release. I really love her organic wreath & use of lace--2 of my favorite things. Now I have Gathered Garden on my wishlist!
For my wreath I used stamps from Turning a New Leaf & Friendship Jar Flowers stamped in Spring Moss, Classic Kraft & Sweet Blush. The die cuts from The Sweet Life were stamped in Spring Moss (double for the details), Sweet Blush (double for the second layer) & Melon Berry. The sentiment from Friendship Jar Flowers was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa & I used it for splatters, too. My neighbor just gave me some old sheet music & I used it instead of patterned paper--sponging the edges with DI. I have a sack of lace & this is one of my favorites, but it's almost gone. The left over piece of twisted hemp was on my table & just fit. Instead of putting more flowers at the top of my wreath, I made a Melissa junk bow. Finished off with pink Nuvo drops & this will soon be in the mail. I'm also entering SSS Wednesday & WAW. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
