Happy April!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I know some people are still having winter weather, but it's definitely Spring around here.  That means if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute--haha!  Some people play jokes on April 1, but at PBSC we're just giving you a great new challenge: Spring or Easter.
I pulled out an old wood-mounted PB stamp called "constellations" for a light, Springy Easter card. After white embossing, I colored stripes with my Zigs & blended with a water brush.  The sentiment is a very old stamp from an Oregon company no longer in business.  The card front is SSS Fog cardstock--really liking it as an alternative to white on white.
I spread some Frosted Lace Stickles over the blossoms & added Nuvo drops to the centers.  I'm entering CCCB, Fusion, SSS Wednesday, SSS National Craft Month & Word Art Wednesday.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
Edited to add: Also entering SSS Work it Wednesday.

  2. I thought spring was here too but today started out in the high 30's and low 40's with a cold wind blowing. My jeans and sweatshirts are in the dryer getting ready for the day as we speak (sorry, type). This is a cheerful, happy spring card. I love the flowers and the sparkle and your watercolor is so pretty. Go Ducks. Will be a busy evening.

  21. Snowing, raining and sleeting here as I comment, so your pretty Spring card is precisely what I need to brighten this cool, damp day! Hopefully, the April showers (or snowfalls!) will bring May flowers! Still not 'greening' up very quickly, but we've noticed the buds on the leaves are 'this close' to blooming. A few days of sun would be fabulous...
    Hugs~c
