Boy did I enjoy making my card for Winnie & Walter Rerun No. 18 & Heather's April Color Combo. My last color combo card was actually picked as a favorite--such a wonderful surprise! I don't have The Big, The Bold & Extras, so I made a card with In Bloom : Addie's Garden & Big, Bold, Seasons inspired by Lydia's card.
This is my first time using the daisy image which I white embossed on Bristol paper so I could use my Zigs. I decided to use the coral & purple to make 2 tone flowers & really love the look. I colored the Zigs onto an acrylic block & diluted & picked up the color with my waterbrush--just for a bit more control. Think this is the first time I've been successful watercoloring the background around my images--yah! It's actually 2 different greens with the darker one also used for splatters.
The panel is heavily spritzed with Perfect Pearls before die cutting with Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle. I really didn't want to cover up my panel, so decided to do the camouflaged die technique for the sentiment. I covered the die cut with Crystal Laquer to help it stand out just a bit. The word is stamped in Versafine Smokey Gray & lightly watercolored with the greens. I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies, Inkspirational & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
