Love

How I can make cards in the HA 90 minute Scrambles & then take all day to make a simple card is beyond me--haha!  Oh well, at least I ended up with a card ready to mail & lots of extra die cut pieces I can use in the future!  I had 2 products in mind when I saw The Challenge sketch: EH Bold Blossoms (this card) & SSS Ring Frame.
I also wanted to make another card for the SSS Flickr challenge Lots of Love.  The gray cardstock is SSS Fog and the inks are PTI Spring Rain, Lavender Moon, Lemon Tart & Soft Stone.  The bit of coloring was done with Copic markers B23, E04 & Y21.  The SSS stamp sets are Hello Friends & Card-Exchanging Friends.  I cut apart one of the sentiments so I could use just the word "love."  I white embossed the 2 stamps to make my sentiment & then sponged with the Soft Stone ink. Then I stamped over it using the banner stamp, VersaMark ink & clear embossing powder.  It was fussy cut & attached to the panel with foam tape after brushing all the stamped circles with Wink of Stella.  I covered the card front with the Fog cardstock & finally was able to use these sweet Heidi Swapp heart stickers.  I'm also entering the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge using the top horizontal row.

Funny story--my sister thought something had broken when she picked up the envelope, but loved this shaker!  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

  2. A very eye catching card Greta, I often wonder the same when making a card and why some can take so long.
