Camouflaging Hello

Erin's-colors
February is a special month for me: my mom's BD was the 23rd, my BD (milestone this year!), my niece's BD, my first full month of semi-retirement, my Blog's anniversary (4 years) & PTI's anniversary (9 years)! There are lots of PTI challenges this week & I started by making a card with Erin's color combo for the DT Favorites challenge.  I don't have Lemon Tart ink, so used Memento Dandelion.  My stamps are from these PTI sets: Twig Wreath, Harvest Berries & Wonderful Words Hello.  I actually stamped a larger panel, but dropped the inked sentiment stamp on it!
Changed the card design & I think it's better than my original plan anyway. Wonderful Words Hello die is used for the camouflage technique, a little border of Berry Sorbet cardstock is added & the panel is attached to a Classic Kraft card.  I used a few of my precious PTI Rainstones (a gift from a blogging friend) for embellishment. Not a traditional Valentine, but hopefully my blogging friend won't mind.  I'm also entering ATSM, Penny Black & More, The Playground, Stamping Sensations, Die Cut Divas & SSS Wednesday.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

And thanks for the inspiration on the card below, after I visited it the other day popped back as it made a perfect case for an anniversary card I needed.

  25. This is so pretty, and your inlaid hello is cool. I really like the smaller panel and how much kraft is showing, so I guess your dropped stamp was a happy accident. Great save.
