Autumn is probably my favorite season with cooler temperatures, changing colors and football! You can be inspired by the whole quote or any of the words. I tried a new technique after watching Lydia Fiedler's video.

Basically, you attach foil to cardstock, emboss with a 3D folder, cover with gesso, add alcohol inks and cover the raised edges with gold. Lydia brayered on gold paint, but I swiped with a gold ink pad. I did find it tricky to not end up with the alcohol inks all mixed together, but this panel turned out like I wanted. 
I made it into a card using a sentiment and leaves from SSS Thankful for You. Hope to see you in the gallery. I'm entering SSS Wednesday and Double D.

The colours and finish are so vibrant - this is so not my usual style, but I’m off to watch the video (thanks for the link) and I’m going to have a go. You have truly inspired me this morning!

ReplyDeleteGoodness me this is beautiful Greta, I will be checking out that video as need to give it s try. I too love Autumn for the colours, my fav season to craft for but not so keen on the colder darker days. And I totally love football, didn't realise you were a fan as well.

Greta, I just have to say WOWWOWWOW! Gobsmacked, bowled over, jaw dropped... this is the most gorgeous thing I've seen in ages! Thank you for the link.
