First is my entry for MIM: Creating Stencils from Die Cuts. I happen to have the smallest die from Mix & Mat: Flourishes already cut from white cardstock, so decided to use that.
Somehow I missed the last Transformation Tuesday--not going to let that happen again--haha! I have 3 of the now retired Take 3 stamp sets, which I love.
It looks like you're enjoying a "blue" day! I love the soft stone card base with your soft tones on the MIM card! Your touch of green is a nifty addition too. Your Christmas card would be wonderful to repeat in various colors although this blue works well with snow, doesn't it? We made a hot drive home through the WV this afternoon and arrived to smoke-filled skies.

HOW PRETTY, Greta!!! LOVE the soft curves of the butterfly wings with this Mix & Mat die you used! AND your stenciling is LOVELY, as lattice work for your butterfly! SUPER JOB!!! I also LOVE your Holiday Card! ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to escape the heat for a while. I love the plaid you made with the stencil and the blue and green together. That is a beautiful butterfly. The Christmas card is gorgeous in that blue color. Love that one.

These are beautiful cards, Greta. I never thought of using a Sharpe for white dots, great tip. Your butterfly card is so soft and elegant. I love the textures and sparkle and the way the Flourishes frame pulls it all together.

ReplyDeleteBlue, beautiful blue cards and both of them lovely. I like the idea of sponging gently through the stencil to create the soft pattern and the blue border is gorgeous. The Christmas card is simple and classy, just the thing to crank out a dozen or so which are easy to post.
