Another Transformation

I'm really loving the PTI Transformation Tuesday challenges.  Not sure why I keep cards I don't like.  This one is from March 2016 & I do like the color combo of black, gold & kraft.
Apparently I didn't use very good adhesive as I was able to tear it apart & save the card base, black & gold strips & hello die cut.  Decided it would help to use more solid stamps & I chose Friendship Jar Flowers.
All the images were stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz on a new kraft panel.  For the roses I added a layer of VersaMagic Jumbo Java on top.
The gold ink is so beautiful in person, but hard to photograph.  So happy to have a card I can actually mail!  I'm also entering CAS-ual Fridays & Die Cut Divas.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

  3. I tend to do the same thing - I keep cards I'm not a fan of... I think it's because I don't want to give it out.. but I also don't want to throw it away either!! What a Curse!!! LOL I love the new version... The floral background is so pretty and subtle on the kraft color... Wonderful remake!

  7. your two cards reminded me of a "him and her" version of a card - the first one is so classy and the second much more feminine and pretty - great transformation.

  8. What a beautiful difference adding your background made. I have been keeping the ones I wasn't crazy about too but I have a box ready to donate. Somehow they seem to multiply when I'm not looking. Taking them apart and doing them over is a cool thing to do. That is a good challenge and you are having great results.

  9. Oh if I am not a fan of a card, it gets fixed or tossed...I don't toss many. I believe in fixing it. YOur transformed card is lovely and more girly than the original which I thought was a fab man card.
