CAS Thank You

Cool, rainy days & Fritz would rather nap than walk--can't blame him!  I've made some cards lately, so better start posting them before the challenges end.
I created a very CAS thank you card using new stamps & dies which I got with gift certificates.
The stamps are from Stamplorations Frames & Flowers and the frame is Impression Obsession All-in-One-Frames-Ovals.  I stamped the frame, flowers & leaves in Delicata Silvery Shimmer--beautiful in person.  The sentiment is stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black--my favorite black for sentiments.  The black frame die-cuts (I stacked 2) were left over & still sitting on my table.  The die gives you 5 frames & a small oval at once.  I had only used 1 of the sizes & saw that this one fit the stamped frame perfectly!  Can't really tell in the photo, but I also added tiny splatters of brushed pewter Distress Stain.
Finished off with a single black dot.  I'm entering Stamplorations January CAS challenge, Penny Black & More, SSS Wednesday, SSS Work it WednesdayWAW.

  4. Beautiful crisp card Greta. The ornate frame along with the lovely blooms are a beautiful contrast with the very clean lined sentiment, and that black dot rounds it out nicely.

  9. Crisp, clean and oh so classy in these elegant neutrals. I can't say I blame Fritz for wanting to avoid the weather. Whilst you shiver, we are gearing up for two more days at 42C (close to 108F)!! Just the kind of day to head to the craft room and crank up the air con. It's a long weekend here to celebrate Australia day.

  19. This is adorable. Love the die-cuts. We're so blessed that you joined us with your wonderful art last Challenge. We would like to invite you to link with us again in our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving some inspiration from the Word of God in John 4:14 n which Jesus said, "But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life." Have a wonderful and blessed week.
