Birthday, Friendship, Halloween

My sister is trying to catch up to me, but I always stay a step ahead--haha!  She is joining me in the Sr Citizen ranks, though, as she turns 65 this month.  The new PTI release includes another Cutaway Tag, but my spring die was still unused--shame, shame!  It cuts beautifully & I do love it.
I colored with Zigs--different using them on small die cut images, but think it turned out OK.  I had the right size circle die to cut a piece of glitter paper for the backing.
I intended to use a white card, but I really loved the contrast with the shimmery blue cardstock.  The sentiment from Quilled Elegance fit perfectly & is stamped in Brilliance Starlite Black. I used fun foam to mount the tag.  I'm entering PTI CAWU as I was inspired by Nichole's Day 3 card.  I'm also entering CAS on Friday, & SSS Wednesday.

Next is a friendship card for a blogging friend using a color combo I love--kraft, pink & white.
The lattice die is by W Plus 9 & the flowers & sentiment are from SSS. The flowers were fussy cut.  Maybe I don't always need dies--sure would save some money!  I used Rosewater Nuvo drops for embellishment. I'm entering SSS Flickr challenge, SSS Wednesday & Stamplorations theme.

Last is my entry for MFT Superstar CAS challenge.  So nice that there are random drawings as well as those considered the best of the best.  I made 2 different ones & finally decided to enter my Halloween card.
The pumpkins from Primitive Pumpkins were stamped in Summer Sunrise on a white panel.  The green was done with 2 different markers & the sentiment from the same set was stamped in Vintage Sepia.  I used the larger MFT Chevron stripes die for a fun element.
Bling is provided by little purple gems I've had forever & Wink of Stella. I'm not big on Halloween, but I do love pretty pumpkins.  This is definitely my kind of card.  I'm also entering Retro Rubber (bought Dec. 2013) & SSS Wednesday.  Long post--thanks for taking time to visit my blog.
