2 For 1

I've made several cards in the last few days so decided to post a couple of them together.
Rainbow Butterflies Card
Lizzie's Card
First up is my card for PTI Create Along With Us. I really wanted to CASE Lizzie's card, but thought I'd have to use a flower.  As I went through my sets I discovered the perfect size butterfly in my unopened Quilted: Summer. Snowflake Flurries smallest die was just right & I white embossed the butterflies before sponging with PTI inks Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky & Enchanted Evening.
I had my sister in mind as she loves butterflies & blue. Used my new Elizabeth Craft embossing folder & embellished the butterflies with Wink of Stella & tiny pearls. Instead of gray stripes for the background I stamped Background Basics: Text in Soft Stone but purposely inked the stamp unevenly.  I'm also entering these challenges: Butterfly Challenge #46, ATSM, Just Us Girls, CCCB & Stamping Sensations.

Anita's Card
When I first saw Anita's inspiration card for Muse I thought of my very old Hero Arts set called Fanciful Filaments.  I white embossed the image with little hearts, masked the area, sponged with Distress Inks spun sugar & victorian velvet & brushed on Perfect Pearls.  I removed the masks & then used 1/8 inch Score Tape for borders which I covered in Elizabeth Craft Silver Glitter--the kind that is super sparkly when it's burnished. Another Valentine with my favorite old A Muse sentiment.  I'm also entering these challenges: ABNH, CropStop, SSS Wednesday & ChouxChoux.  Thanks so much for taking time to visit my blog.
