I used a gorgeous image from the PB set delicate florals which I white embossed on watercolor paper. The blue pens are Cobalt Blue & Persian Blue and the green ones are Pale Green & Light Green. After adding water & letting it dry, I added a bit more of the darker colors. The sentiment is from an Oregon company--Peddler's Pack--& I used the Tim Holtz splatter brush with Distress Ink salty ocean. Jill Foster, a PB Designer, often sponges the edges with 2 or 3 colors. I didn't want to ruin it, so went the safe route just using antique linen. Finished off with PPP Marshmallow sequins & black floss before mounting it to a black panel. This is going to a blogging girlfriend, so I'm entering at Penny Black and More. I'll also join in at Addicted to Stamps and More, CropStop, SSS Wednesday, Stamplorations January challenge & CAS challenge without the twist--thinking this is pretty CAS. So glad you took time to stop by & I'd love for you to join in at PBSC.

ReplyDeleteLucky Lucky Blogging friend, fabulous card Greta. The colors your chose look great together and white embossing...one of my favorite water coloring techniques. If you don't want to used water with the brushes, try using bristol paper they seem to blend well on that. I never could get them to blend dry on watercolor paper.
