PBSC is making some exciting changes for 2016 & we have a new banner & badges! The team will be highlighting favorites on the 3rd Saturday of each month, so get your projects uploaded before then to be considered. Remember, you must use at least one Penny Black product. The randomly chosen winner of the prize from our generous sponsor, 1-2-3 Stitch, will continue to be announced the first Saturday of the month. We're also inviting you to add "GDT" after your name if you'd like to join us as a Guest Designer! You can find all the details at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
Our challenge is Anything Goes this month & sadly I needed a sympathy card for a blogging friend. I used Distress Inks & the smooching technique with Penny Black's beautiful winter ledge stamp & an old Hero Arts sentiment. I added a few black splatters & distressed the edges of the panel, matting it with a soft, green textured cardstock. So glad you took time to stop by & I hope to see you in the gallery.
I'm also entering the challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Edited to add: Thanks to Karen L. I'm entering a new to me challenge at CropStop.

Hi again, Greta! Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. It's always so nice to hear from you. Let me clarify about CropStop. The ONLY qualification is that somewhere on your card or project, you use a product that can be found at CropStop. It doesn't even have to be the exact color or style we carry. So for instance, if you used Tim Holtz ink and we don't currently carry that color, it's OK. Or if you used a Spellbinders die that we don't have in the shop, that's ok. Just so long as you use something close to what we carry somewhere on your card or project. That pretty much opens it up to everyone, and we're always SO happy to have new participants. Thanks again also for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday. I'm always delighted to see your sweet creations linked there.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week and a wonderful 2016.
Hugs,
Karen

ReplyDeleteSympathy cards...always so sad when we have to make them, but we know that, in some measure, they will touch the hearts of the people receiving them. Yours is beautiful and delicate; your friend will appreciate the warm thoughts that you infused it with. On a lighter note: that cow logo is just way toooo cute! I need to add some PB products to my collection so I can play along with the challenges...
