Two-toned Flowers

This is my second post today.  Please scroll down for my DeNami Blog Hop card.

I would never have thought to do two-tone stamping like Melissa shows in the PTI MIM video.  Really wanted to give it a try & had an idea in mind that I just couldn't get to work.  Time is running out & finally a card went together after much stamping on scratch paper!  My stamps are PTI Rosie Posie & Heart-2-Heart #2.  The inks are Versafine Smokey Gray, VersaMagic Malted Mauve, Brilliance Pearlescent Coral, Pearlescent Thyme & Pearlescent Lime.  I plan to keep trying this technique with other stamps & colors.  One more day to work & then a couple days off.  I'll get caught up on your blogs & work on the post to show all the entries for my blog anniversary challenge and announce the winners.  I loved stamping long before I had a computer, but the addition of on-line crafty friends has made this hobby even better!  Thank you all!

  6. Lovely card. Your flowers turned out great. i stamp on scratch paper a lot before doing a final image. That works for me. Love the pearls too.

  9. Greta ~ all your 'practice' stamping on scratch paper is rewarded with this gorgeous card you've created. Warm, soft colours, pretty flowers, and those pearls ~ exquisite! Thank you for sharing and letting me know that even the 'experts' - like you - have to do things more than once (or in my case more than twice, thrice...)
